- Duplication is the process of burning (rather than pressing) music, video or data onto a blank disc.
- Duplication is the most cost effective solution for producing CDs or DVDs under 500 units.
- Implant can duplicate as few as a single CD or DVD and as many as 500 or more CDs or DVDs.
- For runs of more than 500 CDs or DVDs the discs can to be Replicated.
- Implant uses only premium A-grade blank media (80min/700mb CD-Rs and 4.7GB DVD-R). These discs have a white printable coating which can be printed with custom made inkjet printers. An advantage of duplication over replication (pressing) is the fast turnaround time – which can be as little as two working days, or for some jobs, the same day.
Duplicated discs are printed using either an inkjet or a thermal process. The disc surfaces are inkjet printed if they are full colour or can be thermal printed on a silver surface if they are black and white.

We now offer a high quality UV coating on all of our inkjet printed discs. The UV coating gives the discs a professional glossy finish. It helps to protect against smudging and scratching.
